[Hereafter] Chapter CCX: Airing Secrets
Added 2025-09-06 19:28:24 +0000 UTCIt was almost destined to happen once Taylor started encountering more people from Earth Bet who knew her, especially when they were people who actually went through and survived Gold Morning and even more so when they were people who Khepri controlled and forced to fight. A confrontation was inevitable.
And fun to watch.
We're closing in on the end of the Singularity. There's still a little ways to go and at least one, maybe two more interludes for us to get through. There are still some surprises left for me to drop on all of you. But, with this as the longest Singularity so far, we are in fact getting close to the end of it.
EDIT: Moving down all the way. 10/18/2025

Funny you should mention that. But that's for later. You'll see in a few weeks.

2025-09-06 23:26:23 +0000 UTCI suspect that, given the chance, Taylor and Altera will get along *famously - * at least, in the sense that they *understand* each other. I *really* hope she makes a contract . . . And this coming out *WAS* inevitable, and well-handled (which means that I REALLY want to throttle Victoria, but that's neither here nor there). As far as it goes, this is as good as they could reasonably *hope* for, I think - and everything *I* was hoping for, so thank you! (I *AM* curious as to why Taylor finds The Morrigan *familiar,* though . . .)

2025-09-06 21:58:53 +0000 UTCI can’t see them letting Altera’s comment about the Umbral Star go, at least not in the long run. (knowing that Taylor has been that kind of threat, as well as having fought one, is something I could see as a reason for Altera to WANT to make their contract permanent. Add in that they fought her, AND WON…) Something something “would that be a potential threat we will need to face” (If Altera undergoes an Ascention, I absolutely could see it integrating something from Larva. Given what Sefar did, I absolutely can see her having an Anti-Divine trait.) https://youtube.com/clip/Ugkx0skL0qR0h4slzO89kGfhAT09fXzuydNx?si=_Wl4cG5Ybmu-wbfg I can absolutely see a PR spin in “one of the first Servants to respond to our summons was a Counter Guardian” - Chaldea is basically EMIYA’s Dream Deployment (for MULTIPLE reasons!) To be fair, unlike in Canon, the presence of Renee is strong proof that It Did Happen.
