[Hereafter] Chapter CCIV: On the Verge of the Assault

We're building up to the action that will be the next couple chapters, so there aren't really many exciting moments in this chapter. That doesn't mean there aren't any or that nothing important happens, just that it's a pretty calm one.
Check that speech, though. Goddamn, I'm proud of that. It came out really well and it's my favorite part of the chapter.
Also, a familiar face has returned. Who could it be?

2025-07-28 02:54:27 +0000 UTCYes and no. As we've seen, the Masters can really only deploy with a couple of servants, especially if they want to get strays in the singularity. They don't really have any anti-fortress NP's which, as Camelot and Babylonia approach...

2025-07-27 02:53:46 +0000 UTCI did not expect to see *that* one, and I really SHOULD have - it'll be interesting to see if she manages to integrate with the Chaldean forces long-term, because Heaven knows, she's one *heck* of a force to be reckoned with. (And they might potentially *NEED* her, come one Christmas time . . . :D) Actually, question which occurred to me: since it's October in-Singularity, should we expect a Halloween interrupt? *That* would throw Coil's plans off, I'm sure.
