Hey everybody! Time for a quick progress report.

Since the last update, I'm still currently implementing the gameplay systems that I want to see implemented, and there's still plenty more left to do. The one that I implemented when I wrote the last progress report was a system I will simply call the STR/DEX/AGI/CON system. And more specifically, the implementation of the 'GRAZE' mechanic used in that system. For more details in the time being, you'll have to seek out the Patron-only post down below this post!

Now since the last update, I sat myself down and wrote down the formulas and descriptions of the stuff I want to do on a private Google Doc and that has helped me out immensely in getting the ideas and thoughts from out of my head and onto a piece of a paper, so to say, in order to visualize everything better. So the bulk of the time I've spent since the last update has been working out the mathematical formulas of stuff like hit rate and stuff like 'Ferocity' and 'Stamina' calculations. It is surprisingly not easy to work out the ways to get numbers to work the way you envision them to.

And while spending all days figuring out algorithms and stuff, I had that doubt lingering inside my head. Is there really a point to all this gameplay-related work when most people just want to get to the sex scenes as soon as possible? Aren't all this overly complicated system just a time waster? And the answer I arrived to is still the same one I arrived at the STR/DEX/CON/AGI post, and back then when I was working on Meltys Quest and decided to add Princess Mode and True Princess Mode; As long as someone finds enjoyment out of the things that I will create, then it is worth doing.

Like Meltys Quest, there will be two difficulty modes planned. The one is basically casual mode, you don't need to overly concern yourself with the deeper mechanics of the game in order to complete it. And the other one is challenge mode. This is the mode if you want to dig deeper into the gameplay system even though it is an eroge, and find enjoyment out of the beating the custom challenges I will be implementing.

This is all very vague for now since the whole thing is still in the super early stages of development, but I am working day and night every day in order to form the image that is in my head into something more concrete to show, and maybe even experience yourself. So please look forward to the future progress reports!

Also, as mentioned in earlier posts, I got a colonoscopy tomorrow morning, Sunday, and I got to take the laxatives required for the preparation in a few hours and I am very much not looking forward to either of those things.

Sunday Update - The colonoscopy went off without a hitch this time. Thank god.
