[Hereafter] Chapter CLIX: Station of the Grand
Added 2024-07-27 18:21:33 +0000 UTCOne last chapter - just the one - and London is over. But that's the cooldown chapter, where goodbyes are said and everything is tied up neatly with a bow. This chapter is the penultimate chapter of London, and there's a lot of stuff that happens in this one, a lot of important stuff, including some things that I'm sure some people saw coming and some things that will take everyone by surprise.
A certain someone has laid down a trap, and he's let everyone know it.
Fun fact: this was actually 90% finished in just two days, because wow, I got started on that scene and blew through it in one day, but being able to just sit back, breathe, and tweak a paragraph here and there for the following three or four days was really relaxing.
EDIT: Moving down all the way. 9/7/2024

Addendum: Also, there was Nagato's inevitable (but incomplete?) betrayal, showcasing more character traits that would be quite prominent in Tokiomi ('attaining the Root' has absolute priority, sentimentality be damned)... Makes one wonder; did said traits become more OR less exaggerated by Tokiomi's own (Grand? Regular?) father seducing one of the Edelfelt sisters into the Tohsaka family during the 3rd Fuyuki Grail War? And does Zelretch consider the Einzbern and Makiri/Matou families 'fundamentally evil' because IF they succeed in creating 'paradise', timeline gets pruned, whereas if a Tohsaka succeeds, the family line ends, but the rest of the World continues?

2024-07-28 05:00:50 +0000 UTCYeah, the twins (and several other people, I'm sure) are going to have a lot of questions for Taylor after all of this. And this time, I think she's going to have to give them some answers. Maybe not everything, but somethings. However, Solomon is making the same mistakes virtually all of Taylor's enemies have made: underestimating her, and not finishing her off for good when they have the opportunity. Andersen may have been a jerk to Taylor, but at least he hit Solomon just as hard. *Considers Solomon's words about the next Singularity. Looks up which one comes next.* ...uh oh.

2024-07-27 21:47:03 +0000 UTCWell, I’m glad Jackie is okay. Sucks for Tesla, Kintoki, and Andersen, but they did their best.
