[Hereafter] Chapter CLV: The Evil Fairy

It's going to depend entirely and completely on what you think of a certain someone and how I interpreted her for this chapter and Hereafter in general. I'll release their material pages to accompany next chapter, when the last bit of spoilery information is no longer a concern.
For now, however... Well, there' s not a lot I could say that wouldn't reveal too much, so I guess I just have to leave it in everyone's hands to read and give their feedback. I imagine some of you saw this coming because you were paying attention to all of the flags I've been waving in your faces the past dozen or so chapters, but I hope that you still enjoyed the end result.

Personally, I think it fits. Yes, it could be a bit more dramatic, but all drama and no comedy or sappiness makes for a duller story in the long run.

2024-07-06 02:33:14 +0000 UTCMal's pride is her defining characteristic, at least in the OG fairytale, so whenever something threatens that, she gets angry. I had loads of fun dreaming up her incantations, though. The poetic rhyming was a pretty cool way of doing things.

2024-07-02 03:23:25 +0000 UTCIt's pretty karmic that she was only even able to be defeated when she turned into a dragon. It gave her a power up but the trade offs were not worth it. Of course she wasn't in the most calm and rational state of mind when she did so.
