if it is gonna make you feel better, the actress who played main girl apparently got psychologically scarred cuz of how scary it is. So you should be fine to play it.

I would also love to watch you play through the game and I think a co-op LP with your husband would be very fun! I remember when you guys played RE2 remake together for a bit and it was very enjoyable to watch. Also, if your husband is with you, you'll probably be able to talk about your ideas and thoughts regarding the story, characters, themes etc of the game more.
