I always second a recommendation for land of the lustrous. Such a beautiful and dark story.

2023-07-06 15:35:23 +0000 UTCland of the lustrous: daily life of cute immortal gemstone people but it gets progressively darker and more f*cked up girls last tour: “Among a scenery of barren landscapes and deserted buildings, Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou tells the uplifting tale of two girls and their quest to find hope in a bleak and dying world” it’s a cozy bittersweet philosophical anime ^^ bakemonogatari: a must watch with amazing artstyle and story. lots of folklore, philosophy, and fanservice (for comedic purposes mostly but it can get very uncomfy…). i feel like this would be a good anime to watch and discuss there’s just so much to talk about with this series. it’s very different from ur usual reactions tbh
