An odd sene of deja vu (thanks America x)

Pawb i have good news and bad news..

Bad news is i might lose my tiktok account again. Yes its @merchcymru all over again. Of my 11 strikes only 2 weren’t appealed successfully and 1 is getting appealed, but my account is restricted to view only mode. And even appealed strikes still count because tiktok is a ffyced platform. I can’t post, comment or like anything until the 18th, I have an account warning on my profile and my next strike might result in a permanent account ban. You might remember far.land was permanently banned twice already last August and September and by some miracle I got it back, but I’m not so sure i’ll be lucky a 3rd time. Americans really don’t like being called out for appropriation 🤷🏻‍♀️ Anyway my account is private until I regain full access, which is ffycin with my #ads but I just can’t deal with hate comments and not being able to delete them atm.

I will no longer be interacting with hiraeth content or attempting to educate the tattooers but I encourage you to continue the fight in my absence. My pinned hiraeth video and playlist will remain up so you can direct them to it as an educational resource, but I will - as much as it pains me - refrain from getting involved moving forward.

I will also be taking a step back from tiktok for a bit and only posting once a day for a while and then reducing that to a few times a week just until I can find my footing again. I have a hefty collab contract atm and don’t want to risk losing even more money this time if the Americans continue reporting my videos. I do have a final hiraeth video already in my drafts, that will be my last on the subject and give me a chance to inform my tiktok followers of my stance going forward. But I may post the occasional video on instagram if I see fit.

The good news is you will be seeing a lot more of me here. I’m going to have a reshuffle of the tiers and start posting public videos to youtube (the same account this is linked to) alongside patreon content. Yay for returning to long form content after 4 years! I forgot to upload the videos before I went on holiday which is why I haven’t posted in a while - i know I suck at staying on top of this, but I truly appreciate you all being here.

Cymraeg lessons will remain patreon only as will the heavier indy content and I’m going to start posting weekly news round ups. Some of the new folklore and history videos will be available to the public but anything at the risk of *encouraging* appropriation of Cymru’s culture will remain patreon only.

I’m still not 100% on what exactly my posting schedule between public youtube and patreon videos will be but I’ll let you know, and all the content I have ready to post will be going on here.

My heart is heavy. But i’m excited to see what expanding my reach will do not just for my content, but for educating others and getting more recognition for my beautiful country.
