I appreciate this, you made a lot of great points especially with 2 and 3. Those things definitely take time, and business needed handled before things could move forward. Also Gabi’s moment was by far my favorite part of the whole episode and I think it’ll be a lot in the long run as well.

RIGHT!? Everytime!!!

Just a couple of things to note since you seemed a little disappointed with this episode. 1. We can’t understand the pain conny has gone through since his mom became a titan, of course it must be horrible for him to visit her and her not being able to speak to him. 2. The plot can’t move forward immediately, there are millions of colossal titans going in many different directions to annihilate different parts of the world. This journey would take a couple of days at least whereas the events of this episode probably took place over an hour show time. The real rumbling stuff will still take time until it can reach their destinations. 3. The titans in the city needed to be taken care of as the walls don’t protect the civilians of the island anymore, those titans can roam around and eat the civilians if they chose to. 4. We needed the resolution between gabi and the group in order to instigate a possible team up in the future. 5. Floch is essentially the king of paradis now while eren is gone (KING FLOCH SUPREMACY 👑) and because the volunteers are zekes group of people floch needs to deal with them in any way possible to eliminate any threats to his vision of the island gaining freedom. This episode might not have driven the plot forward a great deal but it was still a very necessary chapter in the endgame. Maybe we’ve been spoiled by the last three episodes but for me I don’t expect any episode until the finale to be on par with the last three god tier episodes
