It’s more so that zeke wants to have eren join his side and understand his reasoning to hopefully convince eren. Zeke could euthanise the eldians at any moment right now but he doesn’t want to do it unless eren is on his side. This shows me that zeke clearly cares more for eren then his plan.

Ah! Very interesting!!! That would explain why Zeke said they were doing this together, because he’d still need Eren. And if he doesn’t actually need Eren it speaks to how far Zeke wants to go to get him to change his mind!

I think you got yourself really confused with zeke at the end. He was able to remove the vow renouncing war because he entered the coordinate with eren who owned the founding titan. Therefore zeke entered the coordinate untainted, if he owned the founding titan initially he wouldn’t be able to use the power. But over the years he waited for eren to wake up he was able to remove the vow and take the power of the founder because Ymir only obeys those with royal blood. At this stage eren no longer has any power despite still owning the founding titan. Also none of this is a dream, they have really entered the coordinate, the only difference is that time stands still in the outside world while they are inside

Zeke giving eren the ball was like a handshake and Eren dropping or refusing to catch the ball means he doesn’t want this handshake, that was the moment zeke realised eren might betray him and so he orchestrated that event whilst in the coordinate

No it’s been explained before that eren needs to touch zeke to activate the founding titan. It doesn’t work on any dead royal member or historia as they don’t own a titan power like zeke
