You were right about Jimmy Stewart's other roles you've seen. He was like the original Tom Hanks; great actors who represented the everyday man. He's in a handful of Hitchcock films too! The Simpsons have a very funny parody episode of this. Hitchcock is such a fan of films and he made each apartment room represented a different of genre of film - drama (suicidal woman), musical (composer's), Marilyn Monroe type comedy (dancer), romance (newly-weds) & finally horror (the main story). Definitely recommend "Knives Out" (2019) it's a comedy, mystery whodunit. Or for another classic "Charade" (1963) is also a comedy mystery, starring Audrey Hepburn. And I think "The Birds" (1963) should be your next Hitchcock film, so good!

2023-08-02 07:46:49 +0000 UTCThere are many Hitchcock movies I haven't seen yet but I really like TO CATCH A THIEF, featuring the great Cary Grant and Grace Kelly again. THE BIRDS is a Hitchcock movie of the scary type.
