Blade Runner (1982) Full Reaction

Rachael: That Voight-Kampf test of yours. Did you ever tried to take that test yourself? Deckard?

Blade Runner (1982) Full Reaction

Comments

they sound good! gotta pick them up soon!

Love these sci-fi reactions lately, such a fun genre! And there's so many more to check out! Two recommendations of 90s sci-fi is: - 'Contact' (1994; Jodie Foster & Matthew McConaughey) - directed by Robert Zemeckis (Back to the Future, Forest Gump, Cast Away) - 12 Monkeys (1995; Bruce Willis & Brad Pitt) - Super intriguing movie

Yum

i agree... too sad when you think about them.. reminds me of ''Detroit Become Human the game'' the concept is quite similar.. and i don't know why i forgot to mention it.. but hey, watching the next one will be on our main priority!

oh so i was right about Rachel then!? ohh weee! btw can't wait for the next one!

oh i agree!

i know right? but still very good

oh yessss

Fantastic piece of sci-fi...for me it's actually a very sad movie when you think of it..yes I know the nexus 6 killed alot of people to escape back to earth but at the end of it all..all they wanted to do was live past their incept dates because even before hand they had already started to experience their own emotions...Roy being visibly upset with the death of pris and his lifetime moments of what he had experienced would be lost was a fantastic piece of writing and his death scene wasn't over dramatic..it was a simple bow of his head that really had me feeling sad for the replicants....part 2 is also fantastic from denis villeneuve who made arrival and the absolute masterpiece dune part 1 with part 2 coming this November...I highly recommend you both watch blade runner 2049 and dune part 1...amazing movies

Visually stunning, great soundtrack, still holds up 40 years later. When you were discussing what the future would be like, given what life is like now in Japan for example, you really need to see the sequel. Also, to answer your question - Rachel is an advanced Nexus model, Tyrell mentions that in their first meeting, and you will see what happens with all that in the sequel.

One of the best classic sci-fi movies. It has such an atmospheric soundtrack too, I still listen to "Tears in Rain" and "Blade Runner Blues" and it always takes me to a place far away in the stars.

Such an influential movie. SO influential that it may seem unoriginal and/or slow at points - because we now have 30 years of directors and designers building off of the foundation which Blade Runner laid.

This movie was so ahead of its time in style. Great performances, great vision, great direction. Landmark movie.
