--- wow, this movie surprised us in a good way! the road to perdition is indeed long and hard. We didn't know the meaning of 'perdition' when we started this reaction and we look it up afterward. It makes so much sense now but yet so painful.

By the way, Frank Nitti was a real person who was very high up in Al Capone's gang; he seems to be the only actual historical person who appears in the movie. Anyway, great reaction as always!

2023-05-09 11:48:31 +0000 UTCI think it's fun that both this movie and THE UNTOUCHABLES have Frank Nitty (who was a real person) as a character. In the UNTOUCHABLES he is so creepy it makes your skin crawl. In this movie he is still a gangster but seems like a really nice guy--nicer than most of the people I know, anyway.
