Years ago my mother used to say to me:  "In this world, Elwood, you must be oh so smart or oh so pleasant." Well, for years I was smart. I recommend pleasant''

It's been so long since I watched this, I really enjoyed the reaction. This time it seemed to me that the rabbit was actually not the most important part of the story. Jimmy Stewart's performance is amazing. Every time he talks he is both so tranquil and yet fascinating to listen to. It's like the voice of a prophet.

Just go down to Charlie's bar. You'll be fine.

very true! it takes simple faith to change someone's point of view on life. some might come from God, others from a simple source that follows the same laws.. i just can't explain everything that is happening, thus leaving room for the unknown.. or maybe i am wrong all along

maybe! oh freakin hell.. now i am afraid to take evening walks

was one of a kind!

was amazing right?

There are certainly Harveys running around in certain stories. In a movie Marian and Joy also did reactions for, Field of Dreams, at time index 8:14 to 8:29 a part of Harvey, from time index 1:15:24 to 1:15:39, is on a television that Ray's daughter Karen is watching. Harvey is used in Field Of Dreams to foreshadow the baseball players that Ray, Karen and Annie will eventually see on the field. Harvey is also used to show that the eyes of a pure soul, like those of a child, can see what must be known as impossible just as fully as they see what seems real. Personally, Harvey reminds me that some stories can be at the basis of, or referenced in, other stories in ways we don't always appreciate when they are first shared.

we delayed a little. is coming tomorrow.. sorry for delay!

Maybe there is a Harvey or pooka running around in our lives causing all sorts of mischief, but in a playful way. Sometimes to help, sometimes to cause trouble, but things work out in the end. I would like to think that. Great movie. Thanks Louis for recommending this one.

Mr Jordan

I ADORE this movie! It's so weird for the time. I used to be in a Classic Hollywood movie club, and we would have a drinking game for each film. For Harvey, you take a drink every time he offers someone his card. <3

wandavision tonight ? Or another day ?

Ya know. I've never seen this before. It comes on every Easter, but for whatever reason, I just haven't. I guess this will be my first time watching it.
