interesting insight. i saw this movie with mixed feelings... like it was good and not too good.. but in the same time they did a pretty decent job in the end with the story.. nobody is a hero in the end.. they are all humans or human-like.. Harry got redemption, after all, he got through... and we saw that none is too good.. but trying to be is better.... can't wait to continue this amazing journey! and yess we will do Wandavision for sure

So with this movie, Sam Raimi was actually forced to include the Symbiote (The Black Goo from Space) and Venom when he just wanted Sandman and Harry. That might be why things feel crammed. The main villain and struggle was Peter being a slave to his hubris. Which actually makes a lot of sense. He was a nerd in school, and then in Spider-Man 2, we saw him struggle big time to balance his life. Now, people love him and worship him. Of course, it's going to go to his head. But it was a great idea to show because even heroes are human and make mistakes. Eddie, in this movie, does have some purpose that is pretty interesting. So Eddie is basically what Peter would've been without morals. Peter is a good person, but Eddie is kind of a "fake good." Good for the sake of appearing good, but he will fake a picture to get a job and pray at church for someone else to die. Peter had an Uncle Ben, so he learned about helping others and being kind, generous, and being a good person. The Symbiote is from the comics, and when it attaches itself to someone, it enhances their darkest personality traits, making them angry, impulsive, and violent. In this movie, it's kind of comparable to drugs or alcohol. Peter found it, and he feels good when he uses it. But it makes him very angry and violent. He basically got addicted, which is a dark thing but very good writing. Like he did some slimy stuff here. He went to a Jazz Club, where he knows MJ works, with a woman that he mindlessly kissed in front of her, to go and humiliate her on purpose. I love the scene where Gwen leaves Peter alone. He looks down for a second and rubs his suit beneath his clothes. Almost like the Peter with a conscience was there for a second, questions what he was doing. But he touched the symbiote almost as if it reminds him, "No, everything is fine." Then he goes back into his rageful state. He gets into a rage fight with the bouncers.... and hits MJ. Abuse is never okay, but I feel bad for Peter. What Aunt May said is right. Peter is a good person. But even good people do bad things, and it's hard to set them right sometimes. I love that Peter and MJ's Love Theme plays in the background when they dance at the end. It gives an idea of hope, that maybe they can work things out, after all the pain they've put each other through, and love can persevere. The Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man movies are next! You can watch No Way Home after that, but I think maybe you should hit Pause on the MCU for now. After No Way Home, you can't watch more movies without watching the shows first, or else it won't make any sense, like Doctor Strange 2. I know you are already watching a bunch of shows and movies, so it's fine if you wait until you can fit another show into your schedule. Wandavision is the first show on the list. It's only 9 episodes, so it shouldn't take too long. But don't rush through the movies and not watch the shows. The Disney Plus shows are basically long movies so they are just as important.
