Background Work
Added 2022-03-14 23:24:57 +0000 UTCMe and Syunta_87, the artist for Management, have been working really hard at getting some of the assets ready for the remake. In addition to the game being in a different engine, the resolution to the game is also much bigger. (Also it turns out it would only recognize PNGs so I had to convert them all from JPGs)
With our work done I was able to code a mockup title screen. Though the remake of Management uses RPG Maker, its basically using none of the built in ready made stuff like the title screen, so we can have things like an animated background, or extra options for something like a CG gallery.
This is the first time I've ever done a conversion project like this and its really exciting! If it goes well other adult games made in Wolf RPG Editor have a chance of being converted and released in English! :D

Ah good. I thought it'd be stuck in that 800x600 resolution. Interesting about RPGMaker purposely limiting itself to PNGs only, but the little I've seen on the threads about it in their forums just made me not want to know more why. I'm very interested to see how you'd tackle the novelscript files and the animations that have been split to multiple jpgs.

2022-03-16 12:28:11 +0000 UTCI'm very familiar with it and you can do a lot of weird things with RPG Maker if you get creative. Me knowing how to use RPG Maker to its fullest is actually why I got hired for this gig! :D
