Tons of work has been done on the various puzzles of the end of the motel section, testing them and refining them to make sure they work from a bunch of different approaches.
I'm not gonna show off ALL the puzzles just to leave some surprises for the demo, but I am gonna upload some gifs of cutscenes leading into or ending puzzles.
I'm really happy with this lil puzzle, since it functions as a short break after dealing with the potion quest, and BC's art for the fire burning the fence away looks really cool.
Of course these two can't carry a two story tall ladder with them everywhere, but luckily they need it in a dreamscape, which lets them bend the rules a bit.
And to end things, we have a long gif of the cutscene I was coding earlier, here's what it ended up as!
It's er...a bit sad. But things tend to work out for the best!
Since I'm still playing catch up over being sick all last weekend, I'm gonna try to have another post of some kind this Sunday.
