Tharn Type Episode 7 (Full Reaction)

OKAY! Half way through the season, hahaha. I loveeeeee that the two of them are a couple now and that they're moving in with each other but Type really still has a long way in terms of handling and taming his demons. He still has so much anger inside him. I really want him to make up with his friend that came out to him too!! T_T

And now we have what looks like and ex or someone from Tharn's past that's going to fuck shit up and I'M READY FOR THE CHAOS!!

Comments

You're welcome! I'm glad to provide more details as I myself like to get those while watching (without spoilers, of course), it adds a lot to watching experience, I think. And as a huge fan of the actors, I can talk endlessly about those as well, that's why my comments tend to get so long (and would get even longer if I didn't try to calm myself somehow). Oh, it was Gulf, not Mew who was supposed to play Sarawat in 2gether, but since Mew is a singer and plays guitar, it would be interesting to see him there, indeed, and Gulf playing Tine... never imagined that XD I'm looking forward for your next reactions! Hope Philip enjoys the recap too.

OMGGGGGGG thank you for all of this!! 🤩🤩 I love learning all of these things!!!! That’s so cool!! Also thank you for all of the clarifications!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 Oh my gosh I appreciate you taking the time to write all of that out for us 💖💖💖💖 Thank you!! 🥰 Man imagine how different 2gether would have been if Mew played Sarawat! 🤯 Ahh yea, I’ve heard lots of mixed reviews on season two but I think i’d like to check it out and see for myself hahaha love what you said about their height differences and sushi preferences hahaha that’s so interesting! Love to hear about all the effort they put into bringing the details in the book to life. So true though that it doesn’t matter as much as long as their acting and chemistry are so great! Hahahaha yaaaa the Tar/Tum scenes kept confusing me so much but I’m glad i’m not alone in that hahaha. Makes sense that it’s a reference to another series. Super excited to watch the rest of the show with Philip. I can’t wait!!! 😍

Hey! Nice to see you two watching it now. It's actually pretty fun when one of the reactors has watched the thing before and another one is first-time watching xD It can be tricky sometimes though, so I hope you both have fun. Some trivia about Mew: he never officially came out. He said he's been dating only girls this far, but for him it's all about right person, not the gender, so many ppl assume it means he's pan. And as a pan myself yeah, I definitely can relate to that. It's just that some ppl don't feel like they need to put a label on themselves, and that's totally fine too. Mew also is always supporting LGBTQIA+ and takes any opportunity he has, like when accepting awards etc, to support legalization of same-sex marriage in Thailand. Mew is half-Thai half-Chinese, Gulf is Thai but has some Portugal blood so probably that's why his features don't look typically Thai. About the height, both of them are pretty tall - Mew is 182 cm (as he declared himself in the interview, but most of sources say 183 xD), Gulf is 185 cm (he's probably still growing so maybe even taller a bit now). They used some tricks during shooting to make Tharn look taller than Type as it is according to the novel, but I feel like at some point they just gave up on it cause difference us not that big and it's not that important xD And by season 2 I think they totally forgot about it 😂 Who cares about height or age when chemistry and acting is amazing. Also about 2gether and Love by chance, no one of these actors play there (fun fact though: Gulf was first auditioning for Sarawat, one if the main leads in 2gether, and got the role, but then production company changed and they chose his friend Bright instead). Another fun fact about this episode: actually it's Mew who adores sashimi, sushi and Japanese food in general while Gulf doesn't like fish and raw food much, so here they had to pretend exactly the opposite, and did pretty well. I wanted to comment on "everyone's gay" here so badly but then decided it would be a spoiler 😂 But you will eventually find out, especially if you watch season 2 after it (I know many ppl don't like it, but I believe it's definitely worth watching, even if for a few really awesome scenes that took lots of efforts to film and show some great acting). As many ppl said, Tar and Tum characters get more focus and development in Love by chance, but I think it's worth mentioning (and it's not much of a spoiler) that they are not related by blood. It's just that their parents got married after divorce with other ppl. Yes, situation is still awkward a bit, but not as much as if they were half-brothers or smth. I think the problem is that it was supposed to be sort of a prequel for Love by chance, so it was like viewers already know Tum and Tar story, let's not explain it too much and how it is related to Tharn and Type. But nowadays ppl watch TharnType separately, so these moments with two brothers get them confused a lot. Also about majors: Tharn and Lhong major in Music while Type, Techno and their friends major in Sports.
