We’re here to love and support you! You are only human and people make mistakes, and this is a minor thing in the scheme of things. At the end of the day you hold the reigns for where the comic goes and people just need to learn to hop on and enjoy the ride. I’m so sorry to hear that social media pains you so, I rarely like to put stuff out there myself and I’m a nobody lol. It’s always important to remember that it is always the most extreme voices that scream the loudest, and that more moderate heads do tender to prevail. Sending good thoughts your way ❤️

I don't think it'd be very good for any author if every critique was sent directly to your social medias. Have you considered asking one of your friends or a volunteer to take negative critiques to give back to you or just the general message of whats going on with your fans. That, or maybe once or twice a month just ask on twitter about any concerns? I don't mean to impose or upset you, i just want to help cool the fandom down before anything heats up like it did. Not that i think this problem will-- but in the future, someone else will probably start another brigade. It's easier to prevent fires than put them out, i think.

I 100% understand your issues with social media, been there too-- but, i think a lot of people find it unnecessary to email someone about a concern that's not business related. Email is considered a rather formal thing and i don't think a lot of people think it's appropriate to email about personal concerns about the comic, like shipping or the pacing of the comic. Hence the blogs ranting about it.

i would address concerns if they actually came to me with them, but instead i hear their concerns a week later from a friend, i cant go on social media too often outside of patreon or my illness spirals out of control, its why my email is on the front page of my site

I think you're underestimating how understanding your fandom can be. I understand you get a lot of hate for various things, such as that whole fiasco that happened years ago, but understand a lot of people look up to you and love your comic, even if they complain about it sometimes. It would be weird if people weren't upset about something. I feel like negative reactions like the recent one would soften in the future if you tried reaching out to fandom or maybe just occasionally explained some things going on, addressing their concerns etc.

I just assumed it was a place holder before the chapter was named. Also, love where the comic is at right now. Seeing odin maggie and gil getting along, or at least odin trying to get along with gil is really awesome!!
