I know these Marvel cartoons aren't everyone's cup of tea, but this X-Men 97 series has been all sorts of awesome. Very adult, but still feels like the original 90s cartoon series, but with everything from the music to how the team uses their powers amped up to 1000.
But the love story between Gambit and Rogue has been great to see play out in such a nuanced and dramatic way. This cartoon is DIFFERENT. I highly recommend.
(Also you get to see Magneto in black speedos strapped to one of those bondage "X" things, and no I'm not making that up, it is hilariously and needlessly erotic)

So happy to see your reaction at least to the finale! This show has been so amazing and blew it out of the water. Not just for X-men fans but just as a good TV show.
