GameDevelopment Log #5 And Mal0 Update

Hey Gamers,

We got another fully stuffed devlog today. AP has been super busy working everynight on the project. And I can't wait to show you all the progress he has made. Do please note that everything is still work in progress :3 But let's get started

We first want to show you this. For this scene we really wanted to commision an voice actress for Toriel. We implemented the dialogue into the game and there are around 15 different voice lines. I will leave a video in the attachement of this post so you can have a listen. But incase you are wondering who the VO is. You can find her Twitter here https://twitter.com/HaruLunaVO  

Now let me show you some of the awesome frame by frame stuff that AP made.

I really like the animation with her outfit. It feels super soft. However there is one thing we have to mention. In our previous scenes we had allot of different clothing outfits. But for this scene we will only have one since we are making frame by frame animations. And it just takes allot of times to make outfits this way. But the quality is so much higher with fbf animations. There is a chance we will do color swaps of her dress But that will be in a later update. However she will have lots of different options for glasses, earrings and chockers.

AP has made various frame by frame animations of the titties. Currently we don't have the rig setup in Unity so her body and face isn't animated. But that ofcourse will be animated. and will complete the whole animation.

Here is a little headpatting preview. She will probably close her eyes when you pat her though.

I thought it would be funny to have a censor bar as one of the glasses options. If there is a need i could add these to the previous scenes as well.

I wanted to have interactive areas for Toriel. These buttons are just placeholder for now. But the idea is that you have 2 different ways to choose an animation. For example, you can tap the boob grab animation or tap on one of her nipples.

One of the interactive spots will make Toriel squish a bit:3 It doesn't do anything. It's just a small easter egg type of thing. Though i did have the idea that it could fill up the "good boy bar" faster. Or if you tapped her 100 times you will do 9999damage to her and get a bad ending. But currently we want to focus on other stuff.

This scene will also contain steam again. Depending on how filled up the bars are the steam will activate. This wil give the player a nice snse of progression.

Now for something completely different. Now I have some bad news regarding the halloween mini game I was making. The artist who made the Mal0 drawing has some personal issues and won't be able to make the second drawing that i needed for the game. I am putting the mini game on indef hiatus. You guys are honestly not missing out on much. It wasn't going to be a big thing and we made sure to atleast animate the first drawing. So please take a look at those down below. I will also upload the PSD file. Some of you might find that interesting to look though.

Man this was a big devlog. We can't promise that each devlog is this big each week. But we made some really good progress this week I think. Hopefully you guys enjoyed it. We read all the comments so please let us know what you think of it so far <3
