Hope in January

And as you may have already surmised, this is a short, little story about hubris.
Seeing as we're still in January (even if only just) right now, I figure we'll maybe check in on her once a month throughout the year.
Attached is the flat version I uploaded at first to make sure I got it posted in January, but also the smaller, mostly textless version I shared on twitter, should you be interested in that. Also I don't know if it's super clear, but she's going to town on a jumbo to-go order of cheese fries. With more presumably as greasy stuff in that bag for later.

2020-02-02 02:59:12 +0000 UTCHonestly, seeing women in their mid-to-late twenties (young professionals/college graduates) starting to gain weight as they become less active and spend all day sitting behind a desk is one of life's best "little pleasures", if you know what I mean. Or when their relationship becomes a long-term one and they trade going to the gym for spending all evening cuddling on the sofa.
