Hey! I've been deep in the Thyrian universe this week and making progress. We're in the polishing stages, so a lot of little things going on, like color changes, and the addition of subtle details. I've spent a ton of time testing the game recently as well, which is also really important work, but so much fun when you're doing an organic play through. I've been playing all week and I'm currently at about 70% complete. Lot of replay here. Not just because it's challenging, but there is quite a bit of content. I still have yet to honestly conquer the game, a feat the developers should be able to achieve before release. Some of the late level objectives are going to be nuts, but I'll get there. And if it's too crazy hard, we just have to rebalance.
As I've been testing I've also been capturing a lot of footage to gather materials for a trailer, as we are working on getting our steam page set up so people can start wish listing the game. The first four images you see are raw screen grabs from my testing. I'm proud to say every moment in this game is damn pretty.
Next, is a small update on the invaders scene from the intro. I added a few more baddies to the scene, added another layer of light streaks, and actually the motion of the light streaks was moving in the wrong direction before, so corrected that.
Finally, you can see a small concept for some dragons we are adding to the background of Draconia. This is supposed to be a dragon world so I wanted to up the dragon presence, while bringing more life to the background.
