Palette - Lucky Sevens

Introducing Lucky Sevens, a 140 color palette I originally created for my Xenaqua mockup. While it was created with a vivid sci-fi aesthetic in mind, it’s proven to be a very useful general purpose palette. I have to say the value transition across the ramps is very well-balanced and it’s easy to navigate despite the large number of colors.

.aco file can be loaded into the swatch panel in Photoshop.

.ase file can be loaded into Aseprite, Illustrator and some other Adobe programs.

.png file can be opened in just about any graphics software. I know Aseprite and Pyxel Edit allow you to import a palette from a png image, and I'm sure many other apps have the same feature.

The palette is made up of color ramps with 7 values between black and white, hence the name, Lucky Sevens. Some versions include black and white swatches that flank the ramps for the sake of convenience. If loading into a swatch panel make sure you drag out the window so the swatches appear the same way they are organized in the png files.
