There is a new option in the options menu to enable/disable the sensitivity filter mentioned in the changelog. You'll also get asked once if you want to enable/disable it, when you load a game, and every time you start a new game. The setting is persistent, so it counts for all your save games at once.
This update contains a scene that may be problematic for some people. If you feel like you're in a bad spot, mentally, or that you feel particularly squeamish when playing the update, enable the sensitivity filter. It doesn't change anything about the story but you'll get a harmless version of the actual scene.
I'm usually not a fan of censorship, but in this case I wanted to give you guys the option to decide for yourself, since I'm also not a fan of people having panic attacks or things like that. Especially not when CH is the reason for them.
I personally don't think the scene in question is too bad, but I can see how it could evoke some bad feelings/memories in some people, so I decided to play it safe. And since similar things could happen in future updates, too, a general filter is better than to rip you guys out of each scene to ask whether or not you want to see it.
Let me know what you think about this when you've played the update, I'm curious to hear your opinions on the matter. As usual, either comment under this post, or pipe up in the Discord.

2023-06-27 03:57:35 +0000 UTCThat's awesome to hear! Hina is the best, isn't she? :P Yeah, it's not that bad, but I started second-guessing that assessment and figured I'd go with the filter instead. But as I said in another comment already, I might actually remove said filter and exchange it for a general warning instead, given that so far I haven't had anyone say that the scene warrants the filter. If so, I'll probably do it for 0.26, though. Thanks for sharing your opinion on this. :)

2023-06-25 20:32:41 +0000 UTCLoved the update, had to go through some of the scenes twice since I wanted to actively see the interactions between MC and Hina (so cute ^^, especially the UwU face). As far as the sensitivity option, personally I don't have an issue with it, since you are the author/creator it's ultimately your call. On that note.... I was expecting something much more severe. I am guessing the event in question is what happens right before the end of the update and what the MC does to help out? Everyone has different levels I guess, I was expecting something worse, but I am glad I was wrong.

Integrity as a writer is nice and all, but I prefer to not make people have panic attacks or manic episodes (or worse) because they are reminded of stuff. However, you are not wrong in that it could be said about a lot of other topics, too. I'll give this some more thought. Maybe instead of an active filter, a general warning in the beginning of the game would be better. But yeah, thank you again. I'm glad you enjoyed the update. :)

2023-06-25 09:59:36 +0000 UTCSo.... that was a VERY emotional update... Like we say here in Brazil, "got some sand in my eyes". I really enjoyed. To have a high fall with our poor Suzu... Indeed an emotional rollercoaster. In a side note... Although I like to think that stories should be told as intended by the author, for good or for bad, I understand your concern when adding the filter. As it can be related to some people. Anyway, the same can be said about a lot of topics in the story. But I respect that.
