Holidays and the next update

Hope all of you had a decent time over the holidays and enjoyed yourself - either by celebrating or ignoring tradition.
I, for one, had a relaxing time!
Now that the holidays are over, though, I started working on the next update, which is what I want to talk to you about.
Getting back into it today has reminded me that there are things to be prepared for future versions, if I want to improve the game and its story.
One of those things is fleshing out the characters backstories. All of the girls as well as the MC have a backstory already, but some of them are not as elaborate as others.
To have everything in the game as coherent and plausible as possible, this is something I feel like I should improve on.
Another thing would be to make a detailed plan for future updates and what they include, based on the current bi-weekly schedule. This will help me cut down on preparation time for individual updates and thus reducing the need for me to work 10-12 hours per day on them. A thing I've been doing more often than I should've, because I wasn't prepared enough.
There are some other things of minor importance, like reworking one of the old scenes for example, but those will only get included if I find the time for it.
That being said, I'll schedule the next update (v0.5) for Friday the 14th of January, 2022.
After that we'll go back to bi-weekly again!
