Join me, Stephen DeStefano, in my first online “Zoom-inar“ event, for ninety minutes of chatter about life at Spumco, Games Animation and the LA cartoon scene of the 1990s!
No lie, I never could draw Ren Hoek very well, but I knew lots of folks who could, and I will be talking about them and my early experiences in the cartoon “biz”.
Witness! Me drawing live on camera!
Hear! Me straining not to bad-mouth people (I won’t, seriously).
See! Whatever old drawings I can find (I’m sure there’s gotta be some.)
Learn! Drawing secrets of the cartooning MASTER THEORITICIANS.
I'll likely be entertaining, but I also hope to share some rock solid information, whether its a bit of animation history, or some very solid cartoon drawing theories that I learned from the hardcore masters of the art. What makes a good looking character and how do you nail their construction? Do you know how to ace a great scene composition every time? And--what IS funny, anyhow?

(Not really, but the first five folks—-gotta be strangers, no friends or family, because how fair would that be?--who join up WILL get a real paper-and-everything pencil drawing, the way we used to do ‘em for our storyboards, on good ol' sticky-notes!)

Okay so this went badly, but I can’t seem to attach the recorded video at top, I dunno why, but from what I can tell, and from what Karen Green has told me, it does seem to be attached to download at the bottom there. If anyone has any better ideas of how to present and share it privately amongst you all, please give a shout, because this all seems wrong, or at least not right.

If you just drop in, and don't wanna subscribe, it's the one time deal of ten smackers. My apologies for the misunderstanding—if you’d prefer canceling your $5 subscription and just going with the one time ten dollars, I completely understand.
