On the topic of astrophysicists listening to this show: I got my Ph.D. studying astrophysics at UCSC, and several other grad students in the physics department listened to this podcast when I was there (this was ~2017 or so). We'd discuss new episodes pretty regularly, and it still comes up sometimes on our group chats now that we've all graduated. So, there might be more of us listening than you'd think!
