As a WV native I appreciate Chris Regan appearing on the podcast - and his perspective of WV politics was great to hear. Thanks Chris Regan, hope you are able to be on again in the future!

Lawyers get jailed for contempt sometimes. I think the main thing I have a problem with is jailing somebody for conduct they aren’t doing and can’t control. If the lawyer themself does something, sure, jail them if they are in contempt, but if the only way to have prevented Trump from doing it would be to have slocked him as he was leaving the office and put him in a dungeon, I don’t see how that’s the lawyer’s fault. They need to just get over it and jail him if he’s in contempt. The hesitancy to do it doesn’t bode well for the will to jail him once he’s been found guilty.

Wouldn't putting someone's lawyer in jail give the defense a legitimate claim that they are bring deprived of their right to counsel under the 6th??
