⭕ Outline :: Merry Snowy Fantasy

This is how the animation looks like after all the frames were drawn and how it looks like originally. This is also the outline without the cups so I know what goes where. The camera, background, sparkles, and credits are also missing from the outline.

The sound is intentionally left on low quality because that's how it is in preview.

As you can see here, everything actually disappears as soon as the cup touches the ground, giving me ample time to substitute them.

FPS Differences

Compared to the actual full animation, this was actually done in 720p 30fps than 1080p 60fps. It was a late decision to change to that because I wanted the cup movement to be a lot smoother than what was shown here.

Fun Fact: The usual FPS for animation is actually 12fps. 24fps if you're going for faster movements.

Position Guides

The red circles there dictate where the objects went. Everything is off-center to all of them because that's how I intended for them to be shown each frame.

Each frame there was offset by half downwards so it sells the idea of a table existing there, which was, of course, added later on.

BeatSync

The meter on the bottom left is actually my BeatSync system to keep me in time with the music without listening to the song over and over again. It shows, of course, the BPM and the FPS for that BPM so I don't skip over when timing it.

When previewed with music, Animate CC skips frames, while if previewed without, Animate CC shows every frame. If you're previewing it without sound, it tries to render every frame the best it can, which tends to be slow and ends up not showing up in real-time.

The BeatSync helps a lot with that! Thanks to Yon for the idea.

The Sparkles and the Missing Shake

The sparkles actually are coming from After Effects CC effects imposed on the video. Vegas Pro is the one responsible for the zoom and the end card.

There was also supposed to be a slight "camera shake" throughout the whole animation but when I applied it, it gave me a bit of nausea no matter how subtle it is... so I didn't include it.

Translation

To make it clear: I don't really know much about the Japanese language but I do know some words and it helped.

Most of the base translation comes from four sources:

• DeepL
• Yandex
• Bing Translate
• Google Translate

DeepL, being an AI-taught translator works the best and it actually helped me in Japanese conversations. So, it also helped a lot with the lyrics, making them the most accurate. Next is Yandex which makes a good par with translation. Google is just not good enough and I don't rely on that for translations at all.

Other than that, all of that helped with the rough translation and the result is actually half of the length of the entire song if you try and sing it out.

So what happens, in the end, is that I actually changed them so you can sing them very nicely with the song, considering the syllables heard. It's not perfect but I do hope that you like those lyrics I made.
