We're so back. The rings and collar that Amiya is wearing are infection monitors. Most Rhodes Island related characters wear them rogression of their oripathy. That's why Kal'tsit has one. They comes in all kinds of sizes and operators wear them in different ways, but they always look like a ring with that X pattern. Some non-infected wear them too, to check if they're at risk or developing oripathy to treat it quickly.

2023-10-08 00:54:14 +0000 UTCGlad to have this back! One small clarification is that the "X" that was burning on the building was the symbol of reunion. And I think if I remember right there were supposed to be ALOT of bodies at the base of the building, which was the smell they commented on.
