It’s pretty cool that nacht helped asta and the clover kingdom by sending his magic before he actually returned in the spade kingdom (first anime appearance) such a fire movie, I truly believe BC will become seasonal, it’s my favourite anime with only a few coming close personally (watched 4000+ episodes of anime) so it’s amazing to see how great they treated the movie and your awesome reaction as always. 2023-06-20 02:45:20 +0000 UTCI LOVED YOUR REACTION TO THIS MOVIE! It’s a massive hit worldwide on Netflix with it being in between the top 1-3 Trending movie across many countries. It was so worth the wait for this movie after the anime ended back in 2021 of March. I hope you don’t mind, but I’m going to be giving a little bit of an info dump here about the movie and about the future anime, so I’d really appreciate it if you read it all. I’ll do my best to be clear and concise. In terms of the timeline the movies takes place in between the time-skip after the Elf Arc/Saga and right before the Spade Saga. To be specific the time-skip was 6 months long and it’s said that the movie starts 3 months in between that 6 months of said time-skip. The movie is confirmed to be canon by Yuki Tabata (The author of Black Clover). The content of the movie was actually something he wanted to put into the original source material aka the manga but didn’t have the time to unfortunately. However, with this movie it made it possible to implement it into the story. There is a published Manga Volume that you can only get in movie theaters in Japan and there is also a Novel supervised by him as well that you can buy though its useless if you can’t read Japanese. Leakers got the Novel early before the movie released at the time and got it translated. The Novel takes a deeper dive into the actually story of the movie revolving around the 4 Wizard Kings and expands on them including their back stories. The movie was basically 2 hours long and it would have been much longer if they tried to adapt the entire Novel into the movie. I’m glad though that the movie basically hinted to it and gave a vague description of each Wizard King and gave them enough characterization so that each of them has their own individuality at least especially Conrad. Just an FYI, the new form/transformation for Mereoleona is something that was actually supposed to happen later on when the anime returns so its actually manga spoilers. As a manga reader I’m not even mad because the fight with was absolutely amazing. Speaking of the manga (DON’T WORRY NO SPOILERS), there is more than enough content now for there to be a 24-episode season assuming it comes back as a seasonal anime which I pray to God that it does. I do not mind waiting another couple of years for the anime to return if it can look like this, because as a manga reader the fights and the sheer scale of them are NOTHING that you anime onlys have ever seen before AND I’M EVEN TALING ABOUT THIS MOVIE TOO SHIT GOES BALLS TO THE WALLS. And of course, the story & characters are peak af and get better. So much for being concise LOL

I do wish it was cooler though. Like making the knights less musty, or even just having it be clones of Princia herself.

So while I've never called the early animation for BC peak, I've also never cared that much. But this shit?? I NEEEED IT. They gotta keep this up, I've been converted
