Grimmjow was actually seen alive until the very end, as when Nnoitora was about to finish him off, Ichigo ended up blocking the blow and saving him. As for Halibel, she could've been presumed dead but she really only took a slash from Aizen before falling to the ground and her injuries weren't that bad. The three Xcution members though are in fact dead, but you gotta remember that the soul society is the place where dead humans go and since fullbringers are technically just humans with powers, it only makes sense for them to be there.
