When I say promise I basically mean chojiro being Yamamoto's right hand man, which is what we seen in the back story of this episode... this is just my guess on what they meant

2022-11-09 16:22:38 +0000 UTCYo Sammy I peep what you said in the last Bleach vid about the words they put at the end lol that's basically them hinting at the next episode, when they said " The vow rests in the shade of the willow, Even as the lightning fades" I believe that was them saying Chiojiro was making a promise to Yamamoto.
