Bangkok: Aum

Twenty-eight year old Aum and I connected a few months ago via Instagram. Like a lot of these Thai muscle boy types, he's an 'influencer' with a substantial following and a great physique - a winning recipe in the world of Instagram these days.

I had just left Cambodia and spent a week in Bangkok before flying home to the states (which is where I am as I write this). Due to being so back-logged with editing from the past year's many travels and shoots and also annoyed with the difficulty of my past model scouting in Bangkok, I didn't really care if I did a shoot or not. Well, I ended up shooting one of my previous guys again, who was tried, tested and trusted and has become a good friend since our first shoot earlier in 2024. In addition to him, I set up this shoot with Aum, but was prepared if he did the usual Bangkok thing and just ghosted or flaked. He did neither (though he was about 2 hours late 😂) and we had a great shoot. Out of ideas and lacking energy to desire to find a new spot, I decided to revisit an abandoned location I used on a previous trip, which worked out perfectly.
