Chapter 269: The Uchiha Are Konoha's Strongest Clan!

Even the prideful Uchiha Clan, seeing the clay giant, couldn't help but feel despair, as if a deity had descended. Is this ninjutsu that humans can use?

Fugaku looked at the towering clay giant and shouted without hesitation, "Itachi! Take the clansmen and go! Reach the front lines as quickly as possible! This is a mission! No delays allowed!"

"I told you! Today, not one of you is leaving!" Akatsuchi roared from atop the towering clay giant, clasping his hands together and directly spewing a massive torrent of mud from his mouth. "Earth Release: Earth Flow River!"

"Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire Technique!" Fugaku formed a tiger seal with one hand, spewing high-temperature flames from his mouth that condensed into several fire dragons, charging toward the mud flow.

A tremendous sound rang out. The surging mud flow was instantly blocked and evaporated by the fire dragons, completely losing its momentum.

Itachi, leading the clansmen away, glanced back at this Fire Release. Father truly isn't to be underestimated!

"The rest of you! Follow quickly!" Fugaku was more troublesome than he'd imagined. Seeing this, Akatsuchi shouted loudly to the twenty-some remaining Iwagakure shinobi beside him.

"Yes, Akatsuchi-sama!" The remaining Iwagakure shinobi pursued without hesitation.

"Don't underestimate the Uchiha Clan's head!" Akatsuchi watched as his Mud River resolved so easily, even though Fire Release shouldn't counter Earth Release. Fugaku's actions relied entirely on extremely high temperatures and a massive range to block the mud river.

Fugaku wanted to stop those Iwagakure shinobi, but he looked toward Akatsuchi standing atop the clay giant. This guy was staring at him intently.

Akatsuchi's already narrowed eyes became even more obscured. Among the Iwagakure shinobi he'd brought, most had already been dealt with by the Uchiha. Although the Uchiha team's situation wasn't much better compared to his own team, their losses were relatively small.

The remaining Iwagakure shinobi also went to pursue the departing Uchiha. Now, he could only deal with Fugaku before him. Then he'd catch up and handle those Uchiha. "Save those words for when you're in hell!" Akatsuchi said, raising both hands and shouting loudly. The clay giant beneath his feet moved accordingly, each step shaking the earth. The massive clay foot stomped toward Fugaku.

"Fire Release: Phoenix Sage Flower Nail Crimson!" Fugaku leaped backward, releasing multiple shuriken from his hands while continuously spewing flames from his mouth, covering the shuriken. Then, with a light wave of his hand, the burning shuriken changed direction, wrapping around the clay giant's foot.

The sharp wires carrying the burning shuriken directly severed the clay giant's foot.

"This guy!" Akatsuchi felt the clay giant become unbalanced, the entire giant losing equilibrium and toppling backward.

"Earth Release: Earth Shore Return!" He rapidly formed seals, using the gushing mud flow to forcibly stabilize the giant's body, then raised his hands again to strike the giant's body. The foot severed by Fugaku instantly regenerated.

After completing all this, Akatsuchi checked Fugaku's previous position. However, no one was there.

"Fire Release: Dragon Flame Release Song Technique!" Behind the clay giant, Fugaku's figure leaped high, spewing several dragon-headed flames from his mouth, flying toward where Akatsuchi stood.

The clay giant's body instantly burst into raging flames, its massive form crashing into the dense forest below. Dust billowed up, shrouding the entire forest.

Fugaku completed a graceful flip, dispersed the force, and landed on the ground. His crimson Sharingan spun wildly, surveying the surroundings.

"Earth Release: Earth Dome!" Two massive hemispheres suddenly closed together, centered on Fugaku, instantly swallowing him.

"Phew." This guy is truly troublesome! Akatsuchi's figure slowly emerged from the dust, panting heavily. He'd always relied on the clay giant for combat, so he couldn't handle this type of high-mobility attack.

The sound of a kunai striking sparked with flying embers. Fugaku's figure suddenly appeared before Akatsuchi. So fast! Akatsuchi raised his hardened fists, using Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique to block the attack. Both fighters thought the same thing: this would not be easy.

"Alright, looks like you're serious!" After speaking, Akatsuchi formed hand seals. "Earth Release: Fist Rock Technique!" He encased both hands with rock, hardening them. Thinking this, Akatsuchi directly charged, rushing toward Fugaku at maximum speed.
