HP: The Duelist of Hogwarts - 401

Gavin's body was stored in a room within the manor. Elaine brought Sean to the entrance of the room. Looking at the two people guarding it, she directly told them, "Step aside. I want to see him."
If only Elaine had come, these servants wouldn't have said much. But seeing Sean beside Elaine, the two servants immediately plastered on false smiles. "Mrs. Elaine, please wait just a moment. Mr. Bulstrode will return shortly. Wouldn't it be better if he personally accompanied you and—"
"Bombarda!"
Without any warning, even Sean didn't realize his grandmother could act so decisively.
While those two servants were speaking, Elaine directly drew out a wand she hadn't used in ages and cast an Explosion Charm at them. Yellow flames directly sent the two servants flying backward. Their bodies slammed hard against the wall behind them, and the large door behind them was directly torn to shreds by Elaine's Explosion Charm, taking a significant portion of the wall with it, all reduced to nothing.
"We're going in!"
Elaine led Sean into the room. Looking at Gavin lying on the bed inside, seeming to sleep peacefully, Elaine gently crouched beside him, extending a trembling hand to caress his cheek.
"Gavin, let me take you away from here, alright?"
As she spoke, Elaine tidied Gavin's appearance and kissed his forehead. She smiled while two tears fell, landing precisely on his eyes and streaming down along his eye sockets.
Wiping away the tears from Gavin's face, Elaine then wiped the tears from her own face. Taking a light breath, she said to Sean beside her, "Take us away from here."
Sean's eyelids lowered. He didn't let Elaine see his reddened eyes. He stepped forward and lightly waved his wand. The bed beneath Gavin's body immediately transformed into an elegant coffin, encasing him within. Then Sean waved his wand again, and the coffin began levitating, following behind Sean and Elaine as they left the Bulstrode estate.
Bulstrode Manor had magical wards that separated its interior from its exterior. One couldn't directly Apparate into the manor's bounds, though one could Apparate within it.
Therefore, when Sean and Elaine prepared to leave with Gavin's body, those hiding inside the manor—Boreal's people—appeared to block their path. But with Elaine beside Sean, they didn't dare cast any truly dangerous spells, only watching as Sean and Elaine left with Gavin's body.
"Mother, where are you going?"
Looking up at Boreal, who appeared at the manor's gates at some point, and the bewildered-looking Myrison standing behind him, Elaine's eyes churned with emotion before gradually becoming calm. She averted her gaze as if even looking at Boreal once more would make her lose control, lowering her eyelids as she spoke, "I'm taking Gavin away from Bulstrode Manor. You let us pass."
"Mother, Father's funeral hasn't been held yet. Where are you taking him? To find that Squib?"
"Boreal, don't make me say it again. Let us pass!"
"I'm sorry, Mother. You seem to be grieving too heavily. Let me have someone take you back to rest properly—"
"I said, let us pass!"
Suddenly raising her head, Elaine's eyes were red and swollen with tears streaming down her face. Her movements were not slow at all. Her wand shook rapidly with her wrist, and streams of murky yellow flames shot from it, transforming into flowing fire pillars directed at Boreal, an endless barrage of Explosion Charms erupting before the blink of an eye, reaching Boreal's face.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Boreal shoved Myrison away and rapidly waved his wand. Blue-white halos danced before him. Each time a Shield Charm shattered, another appeared to block Elaine's Explosion Charms. In that instant, mother and son engaged in genuine, life-or-death combat.
"Mother! Have you been bewitched by this bastard Sean?!"
"Boreal Bulstrode! Conspiring with others to kill your own father—you monster!"
With an angry shout, Elaine's wand struck out continuously. Immediately, stone spears erupted from the ground, piercing toward Boreal.
But as these stone spears approached Boreal, they turned to sand and scattered. Clearly, Boreal's Transfiguration exceeded Elaine's by quite a bit.
After all, Elaine had lived in comfort for so many years. It was entirely natural that her abilities couldn't match Boreal's.
After exchanging blows for some time, Elaine became breathless. Meanwhile, Boreal only defended without attacking, retaining some respect when facing Elaine. However, Boreal's complexion was clearly not good either. He saw Elaine's attitude written plainly in her manner, and being no fool, he immediately realized his actions had likely been discovered by her.
Unable to vent his anger at Elaine, Boreal could only direct it at Sean. He suddenly waved his wand, deflecting Elaine's spell, and looked at her with her arms hanging at her sides and her face covered in sweat. Then, at Sean, he said with a hoarse and dangerous voice, "You bewitched my mother, didn't you?"
"Bewitched? At this point, you still want to keep pretending? You dare act but won't admit it?"
Hearing Sean's words, the veins on Boreal's forehead bulged prominently. He suddenly waved his wand, releasing a dazzling purple beam that arrived instantly before Sean's face.
However, Sean's wand tip suddenly brimmed with blue-white light. As the wand moved, it left a blue-white trail behind it. With merely a flick of his wand at the purple beam, Sean's wand pushed aside Boreal's curse. Effortlessly, without effort.
This was the Level 5 Shield Charm that Sean obtained from Barty Crouch Jr., along with its advanced application. This method of utilizing the Shield Charm not only conserved energy but also enabled the highly concentrated charm to possess far greater defensive and reflective capabilities, far exceeding those of normal usage.
Though using the Shield Charm in this manner had its drawbacks, specifically since the defensive range was reduced to a single point, it required extremely accurate positioning before the curse to block it. Barty Crouch Jr. relied on experience and constant training. Even so, he didn't dare use it as a routine method.
Sean was different. He possessed the agility, speed, and accuracy derived from his werewolf nature, allowing him to utilize this technique to its extreme—perfectly capable of using it as a regular method.
