All the Little Witches, part 106.

Having powerful people on your team is great. Downside is, if they're much, much more powerful than you are.....Well, if they announce that now they're the boss, what can you do about it?

Mmmmmaybe! ;-)

Obviously, the best plan is to try and contact the 'Faltown Angel' and try to convince her you're on the up-and-up. It might be worthwhile to stake out pediatric wound wards or the like. No sudden moves, and keep your hands where she can see them!

I remember TZ on prime time when I was little, so yes.

Perfesser Bear

The best TZ story, for my money!

The portly fellow's name is Ollie. Is the other guy's name Stan?

Jay Scott Raymond

Ollie has a sense of humor. For his line of work, it's a necessity.

I giggled at the drawer labels in the first panel: "Top Secret", "Middle Secret". I guess if there's a third drawer below out of view, it would be labeled "Bottom Secret" :-D

I was a bit surprised by the mention of wishing into a cornfield, since that comes from a great 1953 story by Jerome Bixby that was made into a 1961 Twilight Zone episode. At the Comics I Don't Understand website that would trigger a geezer alert. Did everyone get the reference?

Based on context Redwater would have to be the group the Cabal (or at least that one member) hired to kidnap Mink.

Jay Scott Raymond

Hard _not_ to make a connection between Mink and Redwater given the circumstances, but I don't remember a page about Redwater. Did I miss a post or something?

Paul Lenoue

They made an incorrect assumption on Redwater since it was the Cabal covering its tracks, not Mink. Hopefully they have some analysts on staff to point out the questionable assumption before they scare themselves too much. While they still don't appear overtly evil, the "reel in" comment has possibly dark overtones.

There's another excellent story re:Supers and government agencies called Fellowship of Heroes. It's been abandoned by Ralph Hayes Jr, but what there is (54 pages) is great. http://www.rhjunior.com/comics/the-fellowship-of-heroes/ Weirdly, I've never done this before but now it's two in two days. David Barrack's Grrlpower mentions 'arcane community college' in this episode https://www.grrlpowercomic.com/archives/comic/grrl-power-1048-limitful-cosmic-power/ And there's a webcomic for that too.... Warning - smart and funny but X-rated - your call! https://hentaiactiontheater.thecomicseries.com/comics/52/#content-start

The cornfield comment made me legit cringe. That was a particularly creepy story!

I am particularly enjoying how Karno handles all these little forks in the road that must come in writing this.
