If Ai wass stupid as a teenager about his mother, Nhai is stupid in not recognizing his own boyfriend's signals that the relationship with his mother/sister is difficult. It's especially annoying because Nhai has already misunderstood seeing Ai with his sister. Isn't it interesting that the sister just sits there when mom's being a manipulative b*tch, but doesn't (thus far) seem to recognize the manipulation, or notice she's being used to get Ai to meet his mother? Ugh. I feel like Nhai might have a little bit of experience with the manipulation, though, in his own past and be able to actually handle her, like not responding to her question about their relationship. We'll see. I'm still iffy on this series overall, but of course now I'm so far in I need to see it to the end.
