Like my own characters. They have more than a few ways of beating death and bringing the "recently dead" back to the living. But there are limitations even on the most powerful methods. The main one being that if "Those how preside over Life and Death" don't consent to the renewal, the attempt will either not succeed, or it'll wind up being like Ground Hog Day, where every attempt to bring them back will be ended by them dying once again in some other way. That's why they don't usual try "resurrection" work outside their home turf. But they also like kicking Fate and Destiny in the guts so it doesn't stop them from chewing the ears off the powers that be until they get permission, heh. If they're in the mood to.
