Sharpe and Graymuzzle in the wastelands.

This week's been a bit of a rollercoaster. Helped a couple friends move. My knees have some spetacular bruises from loading furniture in the moving truck. Went back to work at the Gloo Factory. Which still doesn't have air conditioning. Thankfully, the van I bought from the aforementioned friends does.

Alas, I can't register and insure it for awhile yet, because a couple unexpected expenses have left my bank account at six dollars and thirty-eight cents.

That's half the appeal of the Mad Max scenario, I think: You may have to fight pitched battles for good water, food and gasoline - but at least you don't have to worry about credit card debt, licensing and the thousand and one flavors of bureaucratic bullshit that slowly suck the life out of you. Make you a gray, joyless cog in the machine.

Hence this pic I dashed off for my noble Patron, Perfesser Bear.

Which reminds me, where's my feedback? Lemme know what you want to see, good Patrons - Patreon has quickly become my financial lifeline, so I want to keep y'all amused!

If he does a MLP parody I hope it's something more like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bQ0JahhFkts than just gratuitous porn.

It's an interesting story idea, and I hope no one minds if I take you up on your request for what I would like to see but without commenting on the illustration itself. I would like you to go watch any random My Little Pony; Friendship is Magic episode (doesn't matter which one, even half of a two-part story will be fine) and then draw your take on it. Don't worry about being "true to the material" or any of that, I just want to see what you do with it. If you've already seen one, then skip a step and work from memory (unless you don't recall anything about it at all, of course).

Would you believe that I read this right after paying my credit card bill? It so inspired (?) me that I decided to clear out 10 years worth of old tax records and financial documents. Doing that really does bring home to you just how.... controlled our lives are.

Karno and I need to have a discussion about the definition of the word 'doodle.' I freakin' love it, though. Anyway, Karno has been talking about the impending crash for years; I'll bet he's got a few caches.

Also, good illustration. Great line work.

I prefer games that let you build. Rather than a Mad Max game where the only goal is to survive, I'd rather play one where you're trying to rebuild a civilization. From collecting water to recycling scavenged materials to distilling alcohol for fuel to building wind turbines to protecting your fledging city from Mad Max wanna-be's to setting up a new internet between other towns and so on and so on. Much more interesting than shooting anything that moves.

Bloody forgot this back-assward comment system doesn't let one freaking paragraph. Hit the return and bam! Comment finished.

Well the trouble with mad max is the fuel. Cars need lots of it.
