So I'm hopefully making this little minicomic with a friend of mine, where we seek to humorously debunk some of the bullshit that assorted con men seek to baffle us with (to be fair, some of them are genuinely insane, and believe their own nonsense). Plus point out the actual conspiracies, because yes, they DO happen!
Of course, the naked truth is not welcome everywhere. Scary realities can make people want to find refuge in illusion. I have done this myself. But it's not safe to stay there - it leaves the field of action abandoned to some very bad people.
Google "The Business Plot", for example. America narrowly avoided becoming a facist dictatorship (ahead of scedule), mainly because the plotter's designated frontman, General Smedley Butler, turned out to have integrity.
So it's important to be able to sort out the genuine danger signals from the loud static of lies we are constantly bombarded with. Hopefully, this modest tome will be of some help with that.
