don't worry man, they're out there. proof: i am here

the conversation at the beginning about putting movies on tiktok in 5 seconds segments is actually hilarious because it is happening. people are uploading full movies on tiktok in 2 or 5 minutes parts, just like they used to do for anime episodes on youtube... the new gen gets to watch shit like part 1 of 48 just like my generation did. nothing ever changes

The one that bugs me is "Buffaloed" with Zoey Deutch was filmed in Toronto. It's a movie about a girl with a bad life wanting to get out of the city of Buffalo, which is like 30 miles across the lake from Toronto. It only takes 2 hours to drive to Buffalo from Toronto. And they still filmed it (because it's cheaper?) in Toronto? Uggh.

Peter Young

As a Canadian who lives an hour from Toronto, I would like to say two things...I am impressed that Mr. Stoklasa recognizes Toronto's electrical wiring so quickly. Also, some scenes from "Blues Brothers 2000" were filmed near my home in the Niagara region.

John Kott

I'm about 10 years younger than the RLM crew, been watching since the Phantom Menace Plinkett review. Still not a zoomer, but I can confirm there's interest from a younger crowd, at least.

Wesley Carter

I’m only 26 and discovered them in late 2018. Kinda mad I didn’t find them sooner. I guess the YouTube algorithm didn’t want me to.

Cruz Rivera

I want to amend my comment a bit. RLM’s videos should be enjoyed by zoomers, boomers, and everyone in between. The world can only be a better place with more RLM fans in it.

Eric Anderson

I replaced Netflix with a Youtube premium subscription and sub to your channel. That's it. That's what I watch when falling asleep at night. Every night. WTF!?!?!?! What kind of witchcraft trickery is this?!?!

Wesley

Honestly the gunner seat does sound like something Dan Aykroyd would've come up with, and getting stuck in traffic is totally the joke Harold Ramis would've done with it!

Diane Harten

We call them "The Alps of Yonkers"

LaziestManOnMars

My parents showed me Ghostbusters when I was 5, I loved it.

Robert Sager

Not a zoomer but 10 years younger than that, but I kinda started watching in 2019 and at the start of their stuff so we kinda were similarly aged in a way.

Andy Scotschdale

Nice mountains in the background, too...

Manuel Johnen

Another example of a movie trying to pass off a location as NYC is Rumble in the Bronx, which was filmed in Vancouver. Complete opposite coast of the continent!

Eric Anderson

I wonder that as well. I’m right in the age group with the RLM guys (44 next month), and that’s one of the major appeals. I figured that younger viewers would just find content made by people in their own age range.

Eric Anderson

It would be a great bit.

troutki

Mike has a great voice for it!

OMG. Went to university in Denton. Always love hearing someone give love to The Pricemaster!

troutki

A 'Canadian Accent Discussion' that included the pronounciation "DunnDASS" was a delight, thank you.

Kate Gottli

Another great episode, thanks gents

JTruts

Could Mike bring back the Pricemaster in Milwaukee? https://youtu.be/CUmmxW7Ksc8

plop

I'm sure Mike will be delighted to know that in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 2, they film Toronto as itself and not as NYC

Chuck Goodman

Sorry

CW

I wonder how many RLM viewers really are zoomers? I’m not.

Bonorum Malorum

I’m sure if I showed her them she would get obsessed. She loves The Apple lol

Amanda Foster

Why I felt the need to clarify with brackets lol!!!

For a second I thought your 4-year-old daughter was obsessed with Back in Action and Enemy Territory. To be honest, I'm a little disappointed it's not those two. I'm surprised she isn't scared by Ghostbusters; I am not sure I would even show it to my six-year-old. She's very sensitive though.

Pete Michaelson

Great episode; got a lot of laughs.

Pete Michaelson

My 4 year old daughter is obsessed with both of those movies (BTTF and Ghostbusters) and I remember getting super excited as a kid when we got BTTF on VHS from McDonald’s back in the 90s.
