Are you guys planning to talk about The Tragedy of Macbeth and Licorice Pizza in the re:cap? The Tragedy of Macbeth was my 2021 favorite and even tho it's a Coen Brother, it really reminded me of Kuroneko and The Lighthouse. And Denzel Washington and Francis Mcdormand are amazing in this. Licorice Pizza, on ths other hand, was... I usually love PTA and There Will Be Blood and The Master are my favorites. But removing the creepy age gap romance and the racist Japanese restaurant scenes aside it felt really messy storywise and in terms of pacing this honestly felt like Boyhood. And also, no spoilers, I just really hated the ending. I do get why people like it and the acting is obviously good but it just wasn't for me this time.
