I haven't even bothered to watch episode 9 and 10. I'm waiting for your review instead.

Daniel Lind

I can not wait for 9 & 10 video

Joey Hollywood

RLM's review of episodes 9 & 10 can't come soon enough!

DonMac

This show's writing is like mine for a high school essay: Make the opening and closing paragraph catchy, and the rest just painfully long and drawn out Hope the teacher doesn't read it and take a B+.

David Perek

You can't just dismiss the Star Trek label it has though. If I presented you with a whisky bottle full of cold tea you wouldn't say the complaint of there being nothing "whisky" about it is irrelevant to non whisky drinkers. It's Star Trek in name only. Not in tone, nor in style and not in content or character. Trek was often political but it never preached. To have 10 episodes of a story arc be so full of incoherent preaching, nonsensical and unresolved plot threads (where's Narek? What was the point of the thing with Rafi's son? The thing with Seven and Rafi all of a sudden? A literal magic thingummydoer?) as well out of character behaviour throughout. Star Trek is many things, but it was never any of this.

Nah, not nit picky, the show is just bad from any perspective, most are not complaints related to only old star trek at all.

Chad Whitaker

Most of the complaints are just based on watching the show through a Star Trek nit picky lense. If the universe setting was different, but the plot essentially the same then I think they would enjoy the Mass Effect homage. The vast majority of complaints are not relatable from a non star trek fan.

Exactly my thoughts. They do stuff that makes them happy (or drives them insane?) and it shows in their work. I might not always agree with their opinions, but it sure as hell is fun to watch.

Jessie Zimmer

These reviews are by far the best thing about the Picard series. I really tried to watch it, I made it to episode 5, but that was the end for me at least. I realize this isn't the most important thing, but from the very beginning Picard's dog is a Pitbull, but somehow in the amazing future the dogs ears are clipped, that was the first clue that Kurtzman has no idea what Star Trek is about.

Ugis

A re:View on their favorite seasons or mini reviews on favorite TNG episodes would be awesome. Im binging the series right now Seasons 4 and 5 are so good.

Eric Powell

I have enjoyed watching Rich help Mike through the stages of grief during this series. It has been a fascinating study of friendship and loss. I also like the badass thumbnails.

Amy Hitchner

It makes my day every time Mike and Rich talk about star trek. I wish they would do more Re:Views about Star Treks they actually like!

Matthew Dillard

I am calling it now, the aliens will use ghost Data, in place of the ghost child, to talk to Picard when they do the mass effect 3 ending.

While I'm loathed to defend anything in this shameful show - the Borg reclamation project was very clearly explained in the second episode. The Romulans are doing the 'humanitarian' work of reclaiming the XBs, it's not a scam, but they are also keeping all the removed Borg tech (we see them placing it in ziplock bags after Soji does a surgery) which we also saw in the horrible 5th episode is ultra valuable on the black market since that's what Marina Sirtis lookalike gangster lady Vaginaka was after as well. The Romulans are doing the charity work at the bare minimum, but are getting it done, and there's a profitable incentive for them. I have no explanation why the Locutus viewscreen image was a screencap from the show though, that's just stupid

Matt P

Oh no! The Kurtzman Virus has stuck RLM!

Steve

but, but, in the previous post you told us that Rich and Jay would be talking in this episode! I was looking forward to that curiosity! oh well this is great too!

Peter Varga

This is why I’m a patreon. I love that RLM just makes videos of things THEY want to talk about and not what the audience wants them to talk about.

Bart-Rene Thiel

I guess I'm saying this is tedious and horribly uninteresting. Star Trek is dead. Please use the Re:View format for something cool again.

Rick Drake

One word: laaaaazzzzyyyy

Rick Drake

Oh my God. I just started rewatching Voyager, and even that makes more sense and has more memorable characters. Just let Star Trek die. But we can't. Even Sherlock Holmes, created in the 1880s, still has a following (arguably the first modern fandom as we understand it). It never will.

Rick Drake

I don't think Mike and Rich are allowed to leave RLM studios until they've talked about the entire first season of Picard.

I love you guys, these are the best.

RLM uploading after midnight? Thank you, COVID-19!

As someone who can’t leave my house for 3 weeks here in California (We’ve been ordered to shelter in place), I am extremely grateful for your videos right now! Thank you for all your hard work!

Jessie Leigh

Wow, to see a pair like this just show us the meaning of community. Yeah, Picard isn’t the best. Sure, the COVID-19 is getting us down. But, having a pair like them just cracking wise and getting down to it is what shows me we ain’t beat yet. I might be 126 year old. I might think that Donald Trump is actually Al Jolson alive, zombified and in blackface. (That’s why I trust him so!). But, at the end of the day we all just child of god. Ain’t we? So you bless you two boys and heck even that Jay Bauman too. He ain’t so bad! -Mama Judith here, come get ya biscuits boys!

Where is Jay? -Jay

Jeremy Heynen

You're doing God's work in these dark and uncertain times, boys.

It is very late here in Wisconsin to be awake
