I'll admit, I really liked Nina's near-human designs a lot, and wanted to figure out a way to keep them. I'm fairly sure I can, in the form of some one-shot shenanigans (w/ a minor species shift), which is yay because I personally think she looks pretty neat like this.

She, of course, would beg to differ.

Fucked around w/ Nina's wardrobe for the image and ultimately decided on something else. But I liked this enough/thought it was IC enough that I added white pants, made the dress a "shirt," and found another take on what she'd consider formal attire.

A writing jam session turned into D&D chat and ever since Tek mentioned Nina as a Tabaxi I could not get the image out of my head.

I wasn't really expecting the entire United States to explode as I was getting all of this off the ground. A lot of wind got knocked out of my sails, and a lot of time and brainpower's been put towards things like future plans (where I'm going to go being chief among them), and even just future engagements. Like the couple-few days I have to spend w/ family in the upcoming weeks.

It figures the moment that I got things started, I'd run headfirst into a partial shutdown. A lot of things started happening all at once and I needed to take a short breather!

[WIP] - Some Unexpected Enthusiasm

A through-line with Sandra especially is that, early on, she genuinely did not, and to some extent still doesn't get Nina's attraction to her wolf form. In fairness, Nina's not especially equipped to explain it, either, but, to her mind, she's wasted enough time being closeted that she's earned the right to just-- not interrogate any of it.

So, she won't. And Sandra, I suppose, will just have to live with that.
