Folks, there's nothing so mysterious about this. Before going on the show, Julia told the staff she had a story about being a Showbiz Pizza Bear when she was in high school. Someone on Ellen's staff did a Google image search for "Showbiz Pizza Bear", and guess what came up? The image enough of us nerds have turned into a meme. And BTW, I don't consider the picture something Rich should be embarrassed about. He was an adorable kid.

With many apologies to Rich Evans for his ongoing humiliation, I'm glad you guys got this kind of exposure. Whatever brings in more viewers and thus more support for RLM is a good thing. And at this point Rich's soul has been completely expunged anyway so he probably can't feel emotional pain anymore. Just sayin'.
