Ed Wood - re:View

Absolutely loved it. Not sure how i missed it when it came out.

Thank you for reminding me that Tim Burton and Johnny Depp could make a good film once upon a time. Sleepy Hollow was the last good film by Tim Burton.

Gordon Chapman-Fox

I think Sleepy Hollow is his last really good film, it's not Ed Wood great, but it is really good - rewatched it again recently

Some friends of mine back in college, who used to make classic-horror-inspired trash films, also quoted "Ed Wood" on a daily basis. It might be a thing with many independent film-makers; it's just so relatable.

Domigorgon

A hilarious and heartbreaking film. I'll never stop laughing when the actor walks into the wall and the whole set shakes. "Perfect!" Likewise I'll always feel sad for Ed Wood and Bela Lugosi :(

David Anderson

Did you just trash The Man Who Knew Too Little? How dare you, my good sir!

Daniel Staniforth

Now I want to watch this. You always make the most random stuff fascinating (though this legitimately looks like a good movie and not just a cult classic like some of your re:Views)

Sean Zoltek

I must have watched Ed Wood about 15-20 times too over the years. It really is a movie that is dear to my hearth. My friends and I were huge into Tim Burton and David Lynch filmographies during our teenage years in the nineties. Ed Wood was a great mix of Tim Burton's specific universe but was much more tamed in a way and I loved it. Sadly, just like your video pointed out, I kind of lost interest in Tim Burton's work after Mars Attacks. So, thanks for this video on this wonderful, wonderful gem of a movie!

Nice episode, thanks guys. I've only seen this once, so I'll have to watch it again!

I noticed one of the grave stones move when young Bruce runs by it in BvS. Pretty funny parallel.

Chad M Jones

Eddy how'd you do that? Denthers. Lost my pearlys in the war.

Knightskeye

Amazing re-view. Nice choice on the black and white!

Can't believe some critics, e.g. Jeremy Jahns reviewed The Disaster Artist without mentioning Ed Wood (the person or the film). Perfect timing RLM!
