Finally saw 10 Cloverfield this weekend. I thought it was great but I get what you are saying about the ending. However, the movie wouldn't have been quite as good if she got out and it turned out John Goodman was lying. What made things especially interesting is that you have a very strange guy that turns out to be be extremely dangerous, but he wasn't lying about the outside world. Him lying the whole time would have taken away dimensions from his character. I was also fine with it being aliens, however I am in agreement with you guys that it got over the top by the time it got to the Molotov scene.

2016-03-15 14:24:55 +0000 UTCI remember 3 or so years ago a guy in New Hampshire spent his life savings of like $2,500 dollar or maybe more trying to with an xbox for his kids playing the game @ the town fair throwing baseballs into a bucket and all he got was a huge Banana with Dreadlocks a Jamaican hat on(The worker felt bad & gave him that dumb Banana) So the news did a Bleeding heart Human Interest story on him where they showed him walking around endlessly carrying that dumb-ass oversized Banana pushing a stroller with his kid in it looking all sad, talking about how he had been scammed & lost everything, Even though he could have bought like 15 xboxs with the $ he gambled away going double or nothing. I haven't seen the movie but maybe that the inside Banana joke.
