OP12 Week 1 Meta Power Rankings (Post-Ban)
With a full week of data and access to a strong sample size at the 1B+ rating level, we’ve compiled the first official power rankings for the OP12 metagame following the recent ban announcements.
While the format is still in its early stages, clear frontrunners have already emerged — with Green Zoro, Rayleigh, and Bonney setting the pace. This report will cover which decks are thriving, how they stack up against one another, and highlight the best-performing variants and decklists.
How Our Rankings Are Calculated
Our list isn’t simply based on winrate — it’s shaped by a layered evaluation:
Matchup Strength: We give more weight to wins over top-tier decks, rather than fringe matchups, using a logarithmic scale to highlight true format impact.
Popularity: Beating decks that show up consistently in high-rank games is more meaningful than wins over rarely played leaders.
Contextual Winrate: Raw winrate is factored in alongside matchup quality. A deck that wins often but struggles vs. the meta's top threats won’t place as highly.
High-Rank Filtering: Only matches at 1B+ rating are counted. This keeps the data focused on high-level play and deck mastery.
This gives us a realistic view of how each deck stacks up when it matters most.
1. Green Zoro
Green Zoro claims the top spot this week, and it’s not hard to see why. With no cards affected by the recent ban announcement, the deck entered OP12 at full strength while other archetypes had to adjust or rebuild.
Zoro’s combination of speed, consistency, and resilience makes it a nightmare for slower strategies. It maintains a favorable spread against most of the field, leveraging relentless early pressure to punish decks that stumble.

2. Red Rayleigh
Rayleigh takes second place with one of the best matchup spreads in the meta. Its explosive playstyle can overwhelm most decks, giving it strong ladder presence right out the gate.
It does struggle into strategies with heavy removal or reliable healing, but these are rare in the current field. Overall, Rayleigh is nearly unchecked and remains one of the safest, most powerful choices in OP12.

3. Green Bonney
Bonney remains a top-tier contender, bolstered by new tools in OP12 and a strong matchup spread. Its flexibility lets it adapt to nearly any situation, rewarding experienced pilots who can navigate its complex lines.
Even in difficult matchups, Bonney’s toolkit and resource management keep it competitive, making it one of the most skill-rewarding decks in the format.

4. Blue/Purple Luffy
Despite being the main target of the recent bans, Blue Purple Luffy has shown no signs of slowing down. Its winrate remains strong, and its matchup spread is still among the best in the field.
In short, the deck is still very much alive and we fully expect it to remain a consistent threat throughout OP12.

5. Green/Purple Luffy
Green/Purple Luffy remains a strong contender in OP12. While it struggles against some of the top decks, it decisively dominates the rest of the field, giving it plenty of room to succeed.
With the right draws and setup, this deck can absolutely compete at the highest level — don’t count it out.

6. Red Shanks
Shanks is back in the spotlight! With Blue/Purple Luffy seeing less play, Shanks has room to shine, boasting solid matchups across much of the field.
The addition of new tools like the blocker Shanks gives the deck extra staying power, making it a potential riser in the OP12 meta.

7. Blue Kuzan
Blue Kuzan is performing well in OP12, supported by strong draw power and a reliable engine. Its consistency allows it to cycle through answers and adapt effectively to the field.
We expect this deck to continue placing well.

8. Blackbeard
No surprises here — Blackbeard remains a real contender. With one of the strongest leader abilities in the game, it can shut down entire strategies on its own.
While the deck has some polarizing matchups in the current meta, with the right pairings and an experienced pilot, Blackbeard is always a threat.

9. Blue/Yellow Nami
Blue/Yellow Nami posted an impressive matchup spread and strong winrate this week, making it one of the more surprising performers in early OP12.
Whether it can maintain this momentum remains to be seen, but for now it looks like a decent and competitive pick.

10. Yellow Kalgara
It’s been a while since Kalgara cracked the Top 10, but early OP12 results show promise. The deck’s aggressive playstyle can quickly snowball games if opponents aren’t prepared to handle the pressure.
Although its sample size is smaller than other leaders, Kalgara’s early success makes it one to watch. The question is whether it can maintain its spot in a field that’s shaping up to be highly diverse.

Conclusion
The first week of OP12 has shown us a fast-shaping meta with clear frontrunners but plenty of room for surprises. Green Zoro and Red Rayleigh are setting the pace, while decks like Bonney and Blue/Purple Luffy prove that consistency and adaptability still win games at the highest level. Further down, returning contenders like Red Shanks and Yellow Kalgara highlight the depth and diversity of the format.
It’s still early, and as players continue to refine tech choices and adjust to the bans, we expect shifts in the coming weeks. Some of these rising decks may cement themselves as mainstays, while others could fall back as the meta stabilizes. One thing is certain: OP12 is shaping up to be a dynamic and competitive environment, with multiple viable leaders capable of topping events.
We’ll continue tracking results closely and bring you updated rankings as the meta evolves.
